There are costs associated with running these playdates. We try to keep the activities fun, exciting, and theme related.

We ask families participating in the activities to contribute a small fee. Your contributions help us cover some of the costs associated with running the activities. There is no fixed amount, families can contribute what they can, or deem fair. We recommend around $5 per child, per event, as a guide.

PAST EVENTS

Thursday 30th of July marked the global celebration of friendship. International Friendship Day is celebrated globally, proclaimed by the United Nations in 2011, the day aims to celebrate friendship by bringing people together to celebrate different cultures, countries, and individuals. Capybara playgroup was launched in honour of celebrating friendship.

At the Capybara Launch children got to paint a capybara fridge magnet and make capybara balloon animals. As a parting gift, everyone got a goodie show bag with capybara goods and tasty treats.

August 2026

Taking place at the Ninja Warrior Park. The children made nun-chucks, rescued their own Ninja Turtles, participated in a pizza scavenger hunt and ran the ninja course. A cowabunga day!
